Winter Tip for Smooth Skin

Winter is still here!  It is 2 degrees here this morning in the San Luis Valley.  However, I am grateful, it’s not going under 0 anymore.

About a month ago, I managed to catch a cold and my poor nose and around my nose was so dry, I could hardly stand it.  Then I found and tried this wonderful remedy that can done at home with ingredients from your kitchen cupboards.

It’s called Rosemary Sage Sea Salt Scrub and is from the SkA:nÁ: Spa in upstate New York.    So, if you want to feel like you’ve just visited a spa and have your skin come out feeling fresh and soft again, you’ve got to give this a try.  I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my face was normal again from one application.

- 1/4 cup granulated Sea Salt

- 1/2 teaspoon of finely crushed rosemary (dried)

- 1/2 teaspoon of finely crushed sage (dried)

- 1/2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

- 1 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil

Combine ingredients in a bowl. Mix ingredients until they form a paste. Add extra olive oil as necessary to create desired consistency.

This is by far the easiest way to take care of your skin in the winter so it will be beautiful all year round. Simply wash with the rosemary sage sea salt scrub, then apply moisturizer.  You can be certain you will look and feel beautiful each day of the year ahead.

P.S.  Happy Valentine's Day!
