Skin So Soft For The Summer

I have found an excellent method of detoxing your lymph system as well as looking and feeling great for the summer! 

Along with regular aerobic exercise, one of the easiest ways to stimulate the lymphatic system is by dry brushing your body with a natural fiber brush, a loofah sponge, or a coarse natural fiber bath glove.

 Dry brushing also promotes blood circulation and oxygenation.  Never use a nylon or synthetic fiber brush---the bristles are too sharp and may scrape your skin.  Remember to always dry brush before you shower or bathe because you’ll want to wash off the skin flakes that are produced by the brushing action.

Here’s how to do it:  Begin with your feet and brush vigorously in circular motions.  Brush away from your extremities and toward your heart.  Continue brushing up your legs, then start on your hands and arms.  Brush your entire back and abdomen area, shoulders, and neck.  Brush around the breasts, under the armpits, and on the buttocks.  Don’t brush any sensitive, irritated, infected or damaged areas of the skin and never dry brush facial skin.  After brushing, take a shower or bath.  Doing this daily will help keep your lymphatic system and blood circulation in optimal shape.  (Excerpt from Revitalize Your Hormones, Dr. Dales 7 Steps to a Happier, Healthier and Sexier You by Theresa Dale)

I chose a loofah sponge with a long handle so I can reach my back easier.  Within two days, my buttocks and the back of legs were soooo smooth.  It was amazing!  This is also a way to get rid of cellulite naturally as the back of my legs are looking better as well as the circulation in my fingers tips is improving. That nagging numbing sensation seems to be gone.  This is such a simple and easy way to clean the largest organ in your body and rid cellular waste that can clog the lymph nodes, plus it doesn't hurt at all.   Won’t you try it and let me know how it helps you?
