Salt Water Flush Helps Indigestion

I was visiting the Sand Dunes Hot Springs the other day and I overheard a lady saying she was in such pain.  She was so bloated and wasn't feeling well at all.  She thinks she ate something that didn't agree with her.  Several times she tried to expell the problem, with no luck.

However, I do have a solution.   This can be applied if you are just feeling bloated, haven't had a bowel movement in awhile, or feeling sick to your stomach.  This will clean you out in a hurry.  It is called the Salt Water Flush.  If you decide to participate in the 10-day Master Cleanse, this procedure is recommended every morning.  But, it is also a quick fix if your stomach is unsettled.

Ingredients:
2 Teaspoons Non-iodized Sea Salt, (I recommend Light Grey Celtic Sea Salt)
10 oz spring water or purified water
water bottle

This is best done first thing in the morning.  Pour salt into a water bottle large enough for 10 oz of water.  Heat up about a 1/2 cup of water, pour into bottle, (this melts the salt.)  Fill the rest of the bottle with spring or purified water.  Shake well and drink quickly.  The way I see it, once the salt and water are ingested.  This combination acts like a washing machine inside your body and needs to be rinsed out. Hopefully, within 30 to 60 minutes you will need to be near a bathroom!  And feeling better!

  1. People have told me that 30 to 60 minutes after drinking the salt water they usually have an urgent and intense need to eliminate. This generally occurs several times over the next 45 to 90 minutes.

Some people gag on the taste. It's much easier to take if you use the uniodized sea salt that Burroughs says to use. My wife recommends using a straw so that the taste isn't so strong.

  2. Some mornings I have a hard time getting it down as well. The faster you gulp the mixture down, the better! Thanks for sharing.
